We are honored to be part of your healthy hair and beauty journey.

Our salon is a private boutique salon suite where every appointment is reserved exclusively for a few guests at a time. To protect this dedicated time and ensure the highest level of personalized service, certain appointments require a retainer to secure your reservation.

Why We Require a Retainer

Your retainer allows us to:

Reserve uninterrupted time exclusively for you.

• Prepare customized products and treatments for your service.
• Protect appointment availability for all guests.
• Maintain the exceptional, one-on-one luxury experience that defines I Say Yes Salon & Spa®.

Unlike larger salons with multiple stylists, once your appointment is reserved, that time is no longer available to another guest.

What Is a Retainer?

A retainer is not an additional fee.

It is an advance payment applied toward the total cost of your scheduled service upon completion of your appointment.

Services That May Require a Retainer

A retainer may be required for services including, but not limited to:

• New Client Appointments
• Hair Color Services
• Hair Extensions
• Hair Loss & Restoration Services
• Corrective Color
• Bridal Hair & Makeup
• Luxury Hair Treatments
• Chemical Services
• Specialty Services
• Services requiring extended appointment times
• Mobile Services for offsite locations (Services no done in the Salon)

The required retainer amount will be communicated when your appointment is booked.

Applying Your Retainer

Your retainer will be credited toward your final balance on the day of your appointment.

Rescheduling Your Appointment

We understand that life happens.

If you need to reschedule, please provide the required advance notice according to our Appointment & Cancellation Policy.

With proper notice:

• Your retainer may be transferred one time to your rescheduled appointment.
• Additional changes may require a new retainer.

Late Cancellations

Appointments canceled without the required advance notice may result in the forfeiture of the retainer.

Because your appointment time has been reserved exclusively for you, we are often unable to fill that appointment on short notice.

No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment and do not notify us in advance:

• Your retainer will be forfeited.
• Future appointments may require prepayment.
• Online booking privileges may be limited or suspended.

Emergency Situations

We recognize that genuine emergencies occur.

If an emergency prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We review emergencies individually and will work with you whenever reasonable. Email us: [email protected] and Text: (609)231-3538

Late Arrivals

Guests arriving late may experience:

• A shortened service,
• A modified service, or
• The need to reschedule if there is not enough time to complete the appointment safely.

Your retainer may still be subject to this policy if the appointment cannot be completed because of a late arrival.

Refund Policy

Retainers are non-refundable because they reserve professional time that cannot be recovered once booked.

If I Say Yes Salon & Spa® must cancel your appointment and an alternative appointment cannot be arranged, your retainer will be refunded or applied to a future appointment, whichever you prefer.
